You can’t find a rainbow without the rain
Fiona Epps is a California Native, born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Since she was a young girl, she has been passionate about drawing and storytelling. By the age of 11, she had her own cartoon exhibit in the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. As an adult, she has recently come upon the best opportunity to return to her roots of art and writing. In April 2020, like many others, she was impacted by COVID-19, and lost her job due to the recession. Bad news turned into good, because the shelter in place actually gave Fiona more time to do what she loves. Now, she enjoys creating stories that celebrate life on earth. Her vibrant illustrations aim to be playful, mimicking the magic and wonder of the natural world. Even though Fiona has an appreciation for all animals and nature, she especially loves the sea. She is happily married with three children and still finds the time to visit the beach every chance she gets.
